Features
Filter Switcher technology utilizes a purpose-built solenoid to control the extension and retraction of the camera's infrared filter for simple, rapid adjustment. Polychromatic lenses ensure that both visible and infrared spectrums will be simultaneously in focus. Control the filter switching solenoid from within ARENA or Tracking Tools for on-the-fly customization without needing to open the camera's case.
Include FS cameras in volume calibration for exact scene camera positioning relative to the volume's origin. Calibrated scene cameras enable point, skeleton, and mesh overlay with highly precise correlation to scene video.
When defining performer skeletons, compare scene video with the overlaid points and skeleton for optimal configuration, confirming that the skeleton aligns with the actor's body segments and corresponding markers. Accurate visual preview highlights potential flaws that need correction, resulting in a high level of accuracy in skeleton definition.
During live capture, monitor the relationship between actor and ARENA skeleton to confirm successful tracking or quickly diagnose any unexpected behavior. Add an FS camera to Expression volumes for superior scene video for high quality feedback and presentation.
FS cameras are capable of recording grayscale footage at up to 100 frames per second—over four times faster than normal film playback speed. High-speed recording enables the correlation of grayscale video and tracking data on a frame-by-frame basis for precise analysis or cleanup in post—perfect for sports performance and biomechanical analysis.
