Easily convert 2D camera data into 3D points
The baseline OptiTrack SDK provides 2D tracking for individual cameras without 3D position data. Combining this data to produce 3D tracking can be difficult and time-consuming. The Point Cloud toolkit makes this easy, merging the camera data into robust, multi-camera point tracking. See the Software Comparison Table for more details.
The Point Cloud toolkit can be effortlessly integrates into your own tracking applications, and includes a powerful calibration tool with built-in 3D previewing. The API is available via COM automation interfaces; these provide compatibility with C/C++, Delphi, Visual Basic, VBScript, and many other languages.

Need a larger tracking volume or more accuracy? Just add more cameras.
Point Cloud toolkit notes:
- This software toolkit requires 3+ OptiTrack cameras, which are sold separately.
- A ground plane and a wand are also required; these items are not included.
- This toolkit is compatible with OptiTrack FLEX:C120, FLEX:V100, and SLIM:V100.
- All cameras used with the Point Cloud toolkit must be of the same model type; mixed environments are not supported.
