In this accessories section you can find information about the various tripods and mounts that we recommend with OptiTrack cameras and ARENA software.

Note For Motion Capture Applications: Movement of motion capture cameras after calibration will result in poor data quality. We suggest using high quality tripods, firm wall mounts, or custom truss rigging, including conduit pipes, to mount the cameras in a rigid fashion to one another. Please feel free to inquire about your specific setup questions.

Bogen Base with Clamp/Head

Bogen Deluxe AutoPole2 Black   $99 The ultimate adjustable lighting pole. Single action cantilever lock (with safety release) exerts the right amount of pressure to ensure a secure fit. Protective rubber feet means it can be used without damaging floors, ceilings or walls. Ideal for small spaces. Extends from 210cm (83") to 370cm (145"). Note: We recommend using the Bogen Super Clamp with 3-way Head to attach cameras to the AutoPole2.

Bogen AutoPole Base Black   $49 Turn the AutoPole2 into a tripod. This base is designed to support the AutoPole2 when the ceiling is too high or when you'd prefer to have the AutoPole2 freestanding. Accepts 45mm (1.9") diameter tubes. Legs diameter: 22mm (0.9").

Bogen Super Clamp with 3-way Head (#3025 & #2915 & #2907)   $62 Use this clamp to add camera mounts to sturdy tripod legs, light poles or truss structures. It can also be used on flat surfaces and pipes. Note: The three Bogen part numbers (listed above) may also be shipped as a single package (Bogen #2910).

Tall Tripod   $49 Lightstand with gimbal (mini ball head). Tripod extends from 3' to 8' tall. Thread is standard 1/4"-20.

SLIK Pipe Clamp Head   $49 A great mounting solution for pipe diameters of 22 to 32mm; integrates an easy-to-adjust 1/4"-20 camera head. Note: This item is not for use with Bogen AutoPole2. We recommend using it with the tall tripod.

Small Tripods

Desktop Tripod   $35 Stands 240 mm tall. Extends to 365 mm (2') tall. Thread is standard 1/4"-20.
