Patches Required!:
Grand Prix Legends was released in 1998 for windows 95/98, but the latest TrackIR software (v4.0) only supports Windows XP/2000. You will have to patch this game before you can use TrackIR with it. You will also need the GPLshift+ v0.7.2 (or higher) utility, created by JSJ. There is much more information about GPLshift+ v0.7.2 available at his website.

How to Setup the Free Demo:

Install the free Demo (we recommend this link)
Download GPLshift0720.zip from www.gplshift.dk
Unzip GPLshift0720.zip in the same directory where GPL.exe resides.
Run the unzipped GPLpatch.exe, and click on "Yes."
Edit the "GPLshift.ini" file. Set "ReCenterButton = 1.6" (this means : use 1st. game Ctr's Button 7) (remember GPL and GPLshift counts button from 0 - 15, but Game Ctrl.device counts from 1 - 8)

How to Setup the Full Game:
There are many available patches and mods available for the retail version of GPL. Listed below is a simplified installation procedure that will allow you to run GPL on your WinXP computer.

Install the full version (1.0)
Download and install the 1.2 Patch (available at Blackhole Motorsports)
Download and install the Fast CPU Fix Patch (available at Blackhole Motorsports)
Download and install the Carset 65� Mod (available at Blackhole Motorsports)
Download and install GPLshift0720.zip from www.gplshift.dk
Run the unzipped GPLpatch.exe, and click on "Yes."
