TrackIR Enhanced Games : Red Baron 3D

Originally released in 1998, Red Baron 3D (also known as Red Baron II) is the follow-up to the immensely successful flight simulator Red Baron.

Red Baron 3D features four modes of play: Fly Now (a quick combat mode); Single Mission (which includes several missions and a mission generator to create new ones); Campaign mode (which features one of the only truly dynamic campaigns in a modern flight simulator and which replicates combat on the Western Front of Europe from 1916 through 1918); and a Massively Multiplayer Online Arena version of the sim.

A large community of modders grew following the release of Red Baron 3D.

You can now enjoy this classic title with 2DOF TrackIR view control, thanks to the efforts of the dedicated flight sim community.

Please follow the following steps for enabling TrackIR support with Red Baron II (this will upgrade your software version to Red Baron 3D):

Red Baron 2 installed
Red Baron 2 SuperPatch installed - Patches & upgrades - (rb3d_spr.exe � 11.2MB)
Red Baron 3D MultiPlayer Patch 1078 - Patches and upgrades - (rb3d1078.exe � 1.44MB)
Download and install into the game location, C:\SIERRA\RedBaronII - dgVooDoo 1.5beta2 Glide Wrapper
Download and install into the game location, C:\SIERRA\RedBaronII - Tview MP 1.3
Download and install into the game location, C:\SIERRA\RedBaronII - Reload 1.164
Start the TrackIR software
Using the ReLoad.exe file (or TViewMP.exe for multiplayer), installed in C:\SIERRA\RedBaronII, select TrackIR support then hit the start option
Once you have a flight going, you just need to use the "Insert" key to enable TrackIR support.

A profile is a collection of settings for the TrackIR. You will find a variety of profiles that can be used with this game, in our community section.
