The NaturalPoint team was at GDC 2007. In our public booth
(654 WH), we demonstrated TrackIR with Armed Assault and the new TrackClip PRO, alongside our upcoming OptiTrack motion capture applications (for game development animators).
Our President/CTO also demonstrated an exciting new technology breakthrough in a private meeting room in North Hall. We wish to introduce this new game interaction approach to as many headset/joystick manufacturers, and game developers, as possible.

PC Pilots Ireland Show 2006

Ireland's only combined Computer Flight Simulator and Aviation Show will feature exhibitors from the Flight Simulation and Aviation communities. The purpose of the event is to promote computer Flight Simulation as a hobby in the context of the wider aviation interest. If you have any interest in aviation, this show will have something that will enhance your interest.

AVSIM Conference 2006

NaturalPoint had a booth at the 5th Annual AVSIM convention. This year's AVSIM was hosted at the Dulles Hyatt Hotel in beautiful Washington D.C. from September 15th-17th. During exhibition hours you could see the latest offerings from NaturalPoint and many other software and hardware manufacturers involved in this flight simulation community.

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2006

NaturalPoint will be attending this year's Oshkosh 2006. EAA AirVenture welcomes aviation enthusiasts from more than 60 nations and is known to be the World's Greatest Aviation Celebration. We are lucky enough to have been invited by Microsoft to show off the TrackIR in their booth along with Microsoft’s new Flight Simulator X. So if you will be attending the show please stop by and say hello. We will also be shooting footage for a commercial, so if you come by and take a demo you may end up on the TV!

The Paris 'Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace' (Air and Space Museum) announces organization of the first French Simulation Show.
Exhibition will be held inside the Air & Space Museum, located in Le Bourget Airport (10 km from Paris). All stands will be located within the permanent exhibition, therefore visitors will see Static Planes Exhibition (including two Concorde) as well as the Simulation show.

Shanghai International Home Digital Electronics Exhibition

Hosted by a local government department, Shanghai Municipal Information Commission, this show exhibited the most advanced consumer digital electronics technology and products. There were many international hardware and software high-tech companies presenting. Both TrackIR and SmartNAV were featured at this consumer electronics show.
E3 2006

3 this year and is pleased to announce we have locked down TrackIR support for some major upcoming titles. We cannot mention specifics at this point but we can say we met with Ubisoft, Blimey!, 10TACLE, Replay Studios and Irrational Games. While most of our time was spent in meetings we did get out to the show floor to check out the latest and greatest technology.
We found it very interesting that Nintendo's Wii controller takes advantage of optical tracking and that Sony has announced 6DOF controllers as the standard for the PS3. It appears that people are finally noticing how valuable increased immersion can be. We believe this revelation will help all alternative input devices including the TrackIR!
You could find TrackIRs in the Intel booth (#501B), outside of the West Hall, and the Spherex Inc. booth (#6253), thanks to our friends at Virtual Racer X, who have integrated TrackIR into their Pro PC racing simulator chairs.
2006 Laval Virtual Awards

won the "Interfaces and Materials" award at the 2006 Laval Virtual Awards! The official ceremony was held on Friday, April 28, 2006.

The NaturalPoint TrackIR booth (#1542) had a large plasma screen and several laptops with TrackIR units set up and available for demonstration.
We had a great time meeting with excellent people from all different walks of the computer gaming and simulation world.
Overall, the show was a huge success for NaturalPoint and TrackIR.
We had such a great response to our raffle that we gave away four
TrackIR 4:PRO systems.
E3 Expo 2005

3 2005. Jason, Jim, and Warren were on hand to demo the product, and give out free hats, shirts, pens, and discount coupons.
We also convinced the
VirtualGT racing cockpit developers to mount a TrackIR on their excellent racing rig setup nearby for demonstration.
