6DOF rFactor Patch Released
Image Space Incorporated recently released patch 1070 which enables full 6DOF support in their racing simulation rFactor. Now you can lean forward for a closer look at your gauges or lean back for a slightly wider field of view. You can also look into tight corners around curves, sit up for a better view over the nose of the car, or sit lower for a more aero efficient seating position. Microsoft Flight Sim X
It's looking like a holiday 2006 release date for this highly anticipated game. Visit Microsoft Flight Simulator Insider or the SimHQ Flight Simulator Preview for the details. NaturalPoint is working to bring TrackIR support to this outstanding upcoming title.

netKar PRO
While there is not much information available at the netKar PRO website, Marco was kind enough to provide NaturalPoint with the latest look at how things are progressing on the online racing simulator. It looks like 2006 will be another strong year for the racing sim community. According to Marco they are still targeting Q1 2006 for netKar PRO version 1.0 release. Jet Thunder Update
In a recent SimHQ Interview we learn about plans for Jet Thunder to support the TrackIR. Chris "BeachAV8R" Frishmuth interviews Dante Mendes De Patta, Jet Thunder Project Manager, to discuss the highly anticipated project covering the 1982 Falklands / Malvinas War.

US Version of GT Legends Ships February 6
GT Legends is the ultimate historic racing simulation which brings back the legendary spirit of the 50s, 60s and 70s. From the famous Mini Cooper team to the muscular Corvette Stingray team, GT Legends is the first game featuring all the legends of classic car racing. This TrackIR supported title is available in the United States on February 6, 2006.

SimBin and 10tacle have recently announced the successor to the award-winning racing simulation GTR will be released in the summer of 2006.
